Now known as the Atrium Bar. Very plush and large and no surprise - no real ale. But not that expensive.

Smallish bar attached to the hotel, very comfortable seating. Lots of sporting equipment around the walls, also has a copy of the rules of cricket. Opens in the evening from 17:30 or from 11:00 Fridays. Doesn't sell food, but the hotel restaurant is just through the door in the bar.
