Slug and Lettuce, Southampton

As Slugs go, this one was pretty awful. Dreadful music which was about as pleasant as a zombie breaking wind, an allusion reinforced by an overwhelming smell of rotten cabbage whose source may have been the pub or one of their less fragrant regulars. The staff were rude, there was a really annoying multicoloured strobe light which could easily have triggered a fit in even the strongest mind, and prices were ridiculously high. The rather sad, damp outside seating area at the front was occupied only by a couple of rather sad, damp teenagers vaping. No cask ale or real cider, and only 4 kegs in action, Peroni, Poretti, Cruzcampo and Neck Oil. I really don't see my returning.
