A no-nonsense proper local with a lounge side and a public side, although joined together. Darts and table football are available, with a couple of sports TVs, and a garden and function room round the back. Sadly the 4 handpumps only offered GK IPA and that was not in the best of condition, otherwise an acceptable if unexciting pub.
