The brown glazed tiling around the exterior is all very traditional but thats the high point.Inside is quite small, some exposed brick to the right side with a long serving bar with 20 wall mounted keg taps. The England v Kiwis rugby was on a drop down screen at the far end and the interior was packed, all bar stools were occupied, all tables too so it was vertical drinking for my half of Hepcat SIPA,instantly foregettable.I couldnt navigate any further along to judge the range, but not all taps were operational.
There is a basement down circular steps but I couldnt be bothered to investigate. This pub is the hangout for the young drinkers of Cla'hm maybe at a quieter time it would be possible to judge the quality of the keg range but I'm unlikely to try.

This is a mid-19th century pub, originally a Whitbread’s house known as the North Pole, the current name dating from 2019.
The interior has been completely modernised, with a boarded floor, masses of bare brick, white ceiling, black and white prints of Clapham from yesteryear and unwatched silent football on a projector screen, overplayed by Belinda Carlisle’s Heaven is a Place on Earth on arrival; all this and more can be seen on their online gallery. Customers understandably were young professional types, some quite shouty, annoying bar staff reaching over me to put used glasses on the bar.
Still no cask, a beer wall yielding 20 taps but along with crafties, stuff like Guinness, Aspall’s and Madri, my half of Goodness Brewing’s Yes! coming in at an unforgivable £3.90 half (No!), served by a helpful barman.
Not a great place, the neighbouring Pig’s Head and Tim Bobbin are a bit better, not least due to the lack of sport and availability of cask ale; the prices here are a joke too.

A street corner pub with a nice tiled frontage and yet another designer interior but at least keeping traditional furnishings. The windows open out on hot days, which is quite pleasant. Sadly no real ales, with 20 assorted keg taps of mainly London craft beers (price now £5.50).

Been through a few name changes, North Pole, Mistress P's and now Traders. Looked like it was turning into a restrauant. Paid a visit and was plesantly surprised. Still a pub but now has an Oriental feel to it. Worth a visit if you're in the area. Has changed again, it is now a Mogolian restaurant, not sure if it can still be clasified as a drinking establishment. Update: The place has now changed back into a pub and got a new name, Old Town Tavern, boasts that it has 20 taps, these taps are for gas beer only. Aparently each one cost £5.00 a pint. No real ale. I've altered my rating to the middle choice until I visit and can make a informed rating.
