Old Boots left this review about White Swan
Cosy traditional pub decorated in old style with whisky jugs hanging from the ceiling, mock half timbering, tongue & groove and an ancient floor of uncertain material. Lots of old pictures, cigarette card collections, maps and miscellaneous stuff as decor. Banquette seating at copper topped wooden tables, each with a small pile of games underneath. There’s a small separate area on the right obviously once a different room and furnished in the same way. Five pulls, one devoted to Old Rosie the others with Yorkshire favourites from Black Sheep, Taylors and Theakstons plus HPA from Wye Valley which was off but changed without quibble. The only odd thing was the juke box music chosen by one of the more eccentric customers was reggae.

After spending much of the afternoon in the Fox & Goose and Drink, this felt like an extremely dull pub. Average service and average beer. Four standard ales on the bar including a reasonable Black Sheep and the always awful ultra chilled Theakston Summit. Open plan layout with dining off to the right. It’s not especially bad, but didn’t really offer anything to keep me around.

Another visit and another decent pint. It's nice to see that Pauline is still behind the bar she must have been here about 25 years now.

Old stone built pub in the touristy bit of Hebden. The bar is to your left as you enter and there's another seating area to the right. It's another food led pub in the early evening with most people eating whilst I was in. There are 5 handpumps on the bar one serving a real cider. Inevitably they had Copper Dragon Golden Pippin on one of them which was a decent pint. Sadly they use the totally unhygenic and open to abuse return valves on all the cask ales. It's a decent pub that loses a point or two for the return valves.
