Yates's is situated at the top end of South Street on the corner with Western Road.
This looks like a new build Yates's,once inside there is a fairly large and roughly oblong shaped room with a very long bar on the right side,the room is bare boarded,the seating mainly normal tables and chairs plus a few tall tables and chairs,there is a seating area upstairs which was not in use on my pre 11am Thursday morning visit.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Doom Bar,this was decent enough.
Breakfasts were being served which were cheap and looked nice,decent background music was playing.
There were not many customers in on my Thursday morning visit.
This is a decent enough pub if you want a decent breakfast and have some background music playing.
