Strongers . left this review about Copper Beech Hotel
The Copper Beech is a long pub with covered seating across the front, including on a central veranda that faces a row of car parking spaces. To the right is more parking and a fenced in children’s play area, and there’s a couple more parking spaces up the left that leads to a row of modern build houses. The right-hand side of the pub is an adult only bar with televisions throughout for Sky and TNT Sports, these were muted while some background music played during a recent early midweek afternoon visit. In the front window is a large U-shaped banquette area with tables, and across the centre of the pub are high tables. There’s a pool table to the rear, and a dartboard adjacent to the traditional wooden serving counter on the left-hand wall. This bar also serves a red carpeted lounge and dining area to the left and a function room to the rear. There is no internal access between the right-hand bar and the lounge/function room to the left, which was a shame because I much preferred the right-hand bar and would have returned, but it felt a bit awkward to about face after being greeted at the entrance after walking in. I don’t think this place is worth the walk from town just for a pint, so I doubt I’ll ever return.
