A rather strange back street dive bar which, if you can imagine a Croatian brothel full of Japanese teenagers, with a brain-dead Wookie and a teenage version of Ena Sharples serving behind the bar, you will be able accurately to picture. It’s a single room bar with a wooden floor, small tables with stools, higher tables in semi-booths with faux-Chesterfield banquets, a large TV screen showing football and awful loud music. No real ale, just Neck Oil, Guinness, Aspall’s Cider, Amstel aand Moretti. There was also a selection of Japanese whiskies. If you are a zombie or an underclass mutant that has travelled back in time from a post-apocalyptic future you will probably feel comfortable here, but otherwise I’d give it a miss
