Strongers . left this review about Smithfield Tap
Smithfield Tap is a wedge-shaped bar with beer shelves and high banquettes with tables up the side walls and a serving counter that is found under a flight of stairs where craft and mainstream craft keg products are available from polite bar staff. Up the stairs on the first floor are open plan tables, chairs and sofas, again in a wedge shape. A dartboard and small shuffleboard table are also found tucked away in the corner at the top of the stairs. As trendy bars go, I thought it was ok in here, so I’d revisit if passing.

john gray left this review about Beer Hawk
Wedge shaped bar with multiple fridges and about a dozen keg options.Smart modern interior but few customers. No cask beer.Found it a bit expensive considering they are a massive wholesaler of beers.Beer choice is restricted to brewers they supply online. Tiny Rebel was my choice.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beer Hawk Charterhouse
New(ish) bottle shop and craft beer / cider bar from the online merchant, with this branch being housed in a heavily tapered building opposite the north-east corner of Smithfield Market. Just three tall chairs can be found by the window-ledges on each side of the entrance plus a couple of high tables with a few stools at the far end. In between, you find the fridges on one side and the bar with 12 taps on an elongated fount opposite (and if you look closely there are also two covered handpumps, not currently in use). With a good choice of styles from 11 of these, I dithered before going for the Black Iris Endless Summer session IPA (£6.00). NB - Card only.
