Visited 17/11/25. Visited previously 27/11/23.
No cask. Keg offering of Cruz, Guinness, berries & cherries Old Mount cider, Moretti and the Sale di Mare version, Inch's, Peroni, Asahi, Camden Hells, Neck Oil, Brixton Reliance Pale Ale, Amstel, the berry fruit punch beer from Beavertown, Laine Sonar and their Mangolicious, plus a couple of keg ciders from Lilley's.
This is a large venue, bare boarded with the bar counter along the rear wall with a patterned tile skirt, with a small amount of tall stool seating at either end. There are some booth tables along the right-hand wall and a few regular tables between this and the walkway from the entrance to the bar counter. To the right of that walkway are some tall chunky bench tables with clunky unbacked stools. To the left, in the front left corner of the venue is a slightly raised carpeted area with regular tables with a few booth tables along the front window. Other side of a balustrade but equally raised is a bare boarded area with a leather banquette along the left-hand wall and regular tables and chairs the other side thereof. The rear left-hand corner is on same level as the bar counter and has a few booth tables. Lots of large screen TV's on the walls, showing a variety of sport leaning channels on my visit with the sound turned off and a poppy soundtrack being played. Decent low-level lighting augmented by plenty of Xmas decorations and lights at the time of my visit. Decent sport watching venue but missing the mark on beer offering for me although I enjoyed my pint of Guinness on my stay here.

OK if you can suffer GK IPA. Other than that don't bother.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Langthorne
Tidied-up a bit from its former incarnation as a Yates's (whose name you can still see on the metal push plates on the doors), with a reasonable amount of outdoor seating now available. Inside, the layout, furniture and decor are reminiscent of a smaller, down-market Wetherspoons (with a similar emphasis on cheap food and drink offers). However, ale-wise there is no comparison because are only two handpumps - mind you, my pint of Courage Best was fine (if served too cold, but only £1.75). Overall, a slight improvement.
