Real Ale Ray left this review about Bulls Head

A very uninspiring Gk establishment, which did look promising on approach, until Mrs A pointed out that no one could be bothered to put a few flowers in the baskets out in the front patio area. The young staff were untrained or couldn't be bothered. I ordered a Farmers Blonde and the staff member knocked some of it over the counter and all the time we were there, she never wiped the beer up. There were two other ales, Farmers Ale and Yorkshire Farmers, the prices were ok at £4.20 a pint.

Will Larter left this review about Bulls Head

Reopened in April 2024 as described in this piece in the local paper: https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/people/im-new-landlord-of-sheffield-pub-feels-good-to-be-back-4619591

At present offering three cask beers on four hand pumps, with a view to adding a fourth when trade justifies it. It's a large open plan room with the bar occupying an inner quadrant. Opening at 4pm weekdays and all day at weekends. My pint of Purity Ubu was in very good condition (NBSS 3.5) - Thornbridge Jaipur and Bradfield Farmers Blonde are the other beers, with the last named selling best so far

Alan Winfield left this review about Bull's Head Hotel

This is a decent looking pub in the ranmoor area of Sheffield.
It was fairly comfortable in here and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Black Sheep bitter there was also Stones bitter and Caledonian ale.
I thought this was a decent pub and it is fairly close to the Ranmoor Inn.
