Strongers . left this review about The Sir Robert Peel

The Sir Robert Peel is an L-shaped pub with well-trodden laminate flooring and wainscot throughout. There’s some raised seating in the front left window before seating that runs up the left-hand wall to a pool table at the rear. To the right of the entrance is a sparsely furnished area that is faced by an L-shaped paneled bar counter that runs up the right-hand wall. Standard and premium keg were available during a recent midweek late afternoon visit. Televisions throughout were playing That’s 90s, although Sky Sports is advertised so expect football when available. The service was polite, but a revisit isn’t on the cards.

This is a good looking pub from the outside and the wooden flooring on the inside is good as well. Several TV's around the pub showing both racing and snooker. There's a pool table in a room to the left with a child playing on it during my Friday evening visit. There were another two kids in the pub as well. I wouldn't bring my young kid in here as there were several young, loud, knobheads in. There 's a jukebox and a dartboard as well as the pool table. One handpump on the bar badged with Tetleys, but it wasn't on. Ended up with a half of Carling at £1.10.

Basic pub. No real ale. Not the best inside but it ain't the worst on this stretch.
