Bucking Fastard left this review about The Green Man
A large Stonegate pub with a food focus and an exterior with upvc cladding and a large octagonal building to the left side. There is a beer garden outside ,one side with seating booths and some cover.Inside it's all very corporate with the octagonal building a laid for service dining area with central banquettes ,while the bar is beyond with a seperate wing to the left.Seating is a mix of booths, high tables, dining style tables with the bar area picked out with pine flooring.
The menu is pub grub with a note that adults only need 2,000 calories per day,for £14 their fish and chips will set you back 1,672 cals !
Ales were Tring Sidepocket,Fullers London Pride (NBSS 3)and Hobgoblin Gold while there were three Lilly's ciders on handpump.
Very sterile ,at least the muzak was at modest volume but this is just not my sort of place.

Clive Thompson left this review about The Litten Tree
Previously The Litten Tree, now The Green Man and owned by the Town & City Pub Co. Located near Leverstock Green Cricket Club on the mian road (bus 320 among others). A decent locals pub, quite large with dartboard and a pool table in it's own area in the corner of the pub. Three or four TV screens showing multi-channels. Outdoor paved areas with seating to the front and side. Cask Marque approved, four cask beers, Courage Best, Pride, Bombardier and local Tring Brewery Bring me Sunshine at a decent £2.95 a pint.
