An eating destination sort of pub, tastefully furnished and divided up into numerous little dining areas by columns and partitions. Unsurprisingly entirely focussed on food, for which it does seem rather popular. Garden at rear. Draught beers not especially exciting as London Pride, Doom Bar and Tribute and condition was fair.

Nice looking old white painted pub which a painted inscription on an outside wall informs us the building dates from circa 1650, there have obviously been some building tag on's since this date. As a pub it is very much food led and was full of diners and family's as opposed to dedicated drinkers, the interior is set out almost exclusively with eating in mind with lots of numbered tables throughout, if you just want a drink you could make use of one of the tables or find a little corner at the bar, there is also a beer garden. Ales on were run of the mill being Doom Bar, London Pride and St Austell Tribute, the latter being the only one I considered and was OK although I was nearly tempted to go for Meantime London Lager on keg. I'm sure the food is really good here ,it certainly smelt nice but I wouldn't consider coming here again for drinking purposes alone.

A lovely old pub which was full of character. A Decent selection of well kept cask ales and nice food with prices a little higher than average. Some unusual dishes on the daily specials board. The menu was definitely not run of the mill. The White Hart had a nice ambience and was well worth a visit.good customer service. We would certainly return to both eat and drink here. Highly recommended
