Of the reviews below I would say Old Blues is nearer my take on this pub, a traditional, locals country pub and although slightly opened out it manages to retain its trad ambiance. There was a good sprinkling of said locals in evidence at just after 4pm on a Wednesday afternoon both inside and out. On the good side three ales were on, on the not so good side they were of a pedestrian nature in my view, Doom Bar, London Pride and Hobgoblin, it was a hot day,I had half a Stella.Despite the boring beer choice I found the pub to be a quite decent place.

Located in the Send Marsh area this pub is not the easiest to find. We were not impressed. Badly kept beer at inflated prices. The service was mechanical and the pub generally could do with a good spruce up, In addition the floor required a broom over it. The Sadlers Arms did serve food but we did not bother, one horrible drink which we did not finish and we were off.It just did not seem worth complaining about the beer although it would have been fully justified. When we visited it was not busy we wonder why!!

This struck me as quite a comfortable country local, in Send Marsh slightly off the beaten track, and a good place to drink a pint in the garden on a lazy summer afternoon, or indoors at other times. I had an enjoyable pint of Hogsback TEA, in preference to Pride, Hobgoblin, and Doombar this time. I would happily have stayed for more had I not needed to move on.
