Lovely building - wonderfully old school interior. Yes, pricey at £4.30 for a pint of Youngs Bitter.
Enjoyed the experience and the fact its open at 10am is handy for a walker who was up at 5:20am!

White weatherboarded old riverside pub overlooking the confluence of the Wey and Thames. Several different areas inside, the saloon bar is traditional in style, standard tables, carpeted, rugby prints and a set of oars on the walls. A small snug is adjacent. Beyond the saloon is a more formal dining room with a bright sunny conservatory off this. A terrace and gardens step down to the riverside.
The pub sells itself as a free house and has the CAMRA badge outside, so how disappointing to find just Courage Best, Directors, Youngs Bitter and Marstons Pedigree. I mean come on and shape up, but when you consider the Pedigree was £3.60 it suggests money not choice rules here. I know this is Weybridge but still.........could be an excellent venue but lazy.

Traditional pub in old building with lots of rambling rooms. Well-run and friendly, you can chat at the bar or find a quiet corner. Beer kept well, and also proves that pubs can serve good food without turning into restaurants.

An unusually styled weather-boarded pub down near the river, with a nice old interior consisting of three bars, holding a bustling atmosphere. The conservatory and riverside garden area are nice in the summer, whilst open fires are roaring in the winter. Three handpulls on our visit (only one ale of note though, Hepworths Prospect) which were in fair condition, served in a dimpled mug, a nice touch (expensive though, but that can be said for all of Weybridge). I’d pop back here again if in the town.
