A fairly large roadside pub with some obvious extensions added to the rear of the main pub at some time. Multi-roomed inside with opened out doorways the puby bit is at the front with a rather featureless large room ,possibly for functions to the rear, there is a small area to the left as you enter as well as an intermediate bar area between the main front bar and rear area. The main clientele on my visit were mainly of oap status some sat at the bar and a couple at the surrounding tables along with a "Trigger" lookalike propped up against the Jukebox who obliged with some 60's and 70's classics.A couple of TV screens were present with sport advertised, food is also a feature. On the bar resides three hand pumps, sadly only one in use,and even more sadly that was Doom Bar,however to be fair there was nothing wrong with the condition of the beer, normal keg stuff is also present.Overall I thought the pub was a little tatty and tired looking,a perfectly functional pub, but not one I would rush Back to.

Medium-sized pub by roundabout. Has been refurbished and seems to be trying to boost food trade but still mainly a local.
