Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Duke of Wellington
A fine old inn, slightly off the beaten track in a small village near the foot of the North Downs and claiming reasonably plausibly to date from circa 1516. The layout features two main rooms - a lounge bar to the left of the main entrance (with a snug behind the servery) and more of a dining area on the other side - which have both been modernised but yet retain a reasonably traditional character. There is also a pleasant beer garden off to the right of the building and a few small metal tables out front. Four real ales on handpump: Musket Brewery's Flash in the Pan green-hopped ale, Mayflower 400 from Kent Brewery (£4.00, and in good shape), Harvey's and Proper Job.
