Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about White Bear

First revisit for nearly ten years (when it was unimaginatively called the Tunbridge Wells Bar & Grill), there's certainly been an improvement since it was taken on by Young's some time ago. That said, it is much more an upmarket lounge and restaurant than a pub nowadays, there is a good amount of general seating in the bar area (that benefits from having windows on three sides) and in the small courtyard. In the better weather, the orangery also has a retractable roof. 'Youngs Original' and Harvey's (£6.05) available from two of the three handpumps.

The White Bear was a very nice pub that was mordernised, extended and renamed Rupert's so many years ago I can hardly remember. Has had many incarnations ever since. I think it is now called The Tunbridge Wells
