Bar to the middle left. Four hand pumps one reversed. Had Abbot which wasn't too bad. Large amount of space, especially to the rear.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Queens Head
Must be one of the older pubs in town, set back from Front Street by a little square, but now thoroughly refurbished by Greene King. As part of its Meet & Eat sub-brand it's no surprise to find the emphasis on the family meal market. The remodelled interior now comprises a two-part 'L'-shaped bar at the front and a slightly raised seating / dining area further back - all with the expected semi-modern corporate furniture and decor. A patio beer garden can also be found at the back. On the plus side, it thankfully remains a real ale outlet, with IPA, the seasonal Un-beer-lievable (£2.70) and Abbot available from the various handpumps on each counter.
