Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Star
Picturesque pub near the pond on Matfield's massive village green. The signs outside to lure in the passing punters concentrate on food, and there are two main eating areas inside. However, there is also some reasonable seating on either side of the bar near the main door for those not dining and plenty of wooden benches at the front and on both sides. On this latest visit, I found Harvey's, Doom Bar and the local Tonbridge Traditional (£4.90) available from the four handpumps.
