The Wulstan is long and thin food led pub that is set back from the passing road by a car park and a few picnic tables that sit out the front. Opposite the entrance on the rear wall is a fairly central bar that faces seating and a plasma screen that was airing international football courtesy of Sky Sports (BT Sports also shown). The seating to the right of the bar is geared towards diners and the seating to the left is more bar like with another plasma screen. All three hand pumps on the bar were off with ‘coming soon’ tags displayed so only standard keg was available during my recent Tuesday evening visit. The food from the pub co menu looked very reasonably priced, which is probably why this pub was by far the busiest in the area during my crawl.
