The Globe looks like a large 30s built pub that is on the main road through the Goldenhill area of Stoke.
Once inside there was a fairly large oblong shaped bar to the front,the bar faced on entry,the room is carpeted and had bench seating in bays,there was a TV to the front right showing BBC football score updates,there is a large seperate lounge to the rear which was empty on my Saturday afternoon visit.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which it was.
The front bar was quite busy with a mix of local drinkers.
This is not really a pub to go out of your way to do like i did.
