Alan Winfield left this review about The Green Star
The Green Star is a 70s built estate pub that is set back from the busy hanley road.
Once inside the bar is at the front, this is a oblong shaped room with the bar facing and a pool table to the left, there was a large drop down screen showing Stoke v QRR which nobody was taking much notice of.
The seating was bench type with chairs and stools.
There was a larger room to the rear which is now used for live bands of the rock type.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of GK IPA which was pretty bland, the other beer was Hobgoblin.
This is a decent enough pub that i was happy enough having a drink in.
