Graham Coombs left this review about The Knot Inn
Large pub, once known as The Railway Hotel, adjacent to rather impressive old railway station building on Biddulph Valley Way footpath. It has recently been refurbished to quite a high standard and presumably great cost, apparently with the aim of making it a gastronomic destination, but it has not yet arrived. Laid up for food from the bar areas at the front through to a large restaurant room at the rear, with a large outdoor area behind the equally large car park. The only draught beers on offer at time of visit were Directors and Speckled Hen; condition fine though. See how it develops.
