Strongers . left this review about Dog & Partridge

The Dog & Partridge is a Robinsons tied house with a black and white tiled floor that runs from the entrance to a small bar area at the rear where a U-shaped serving counter sits on the right-hand wall where it faces minimal seating across the rear wall and up the left-hand wall. The less than ten locals in during a recent late Sunday afternoon made it feel well attended in this bar area, and there was a good atmosphere as the likes of Shakin’ Stevens and Nena played in the background. Three hand pumps are supported with Robbie’s Dizzy Blonde and Unicorn being available alongside Henry Weston’s 1880 Vintage Cider and a limited standard and premium keg range. In the front right corner is a room with additional seating and in the front right is another room that houses a pool table, and there’s also a third area in the left rear with more seating and a dartboard that was being used by some younger locals. This is a decent pub with a friendly crowd that you must get involved with because you’re all on top of one another. I’m often staying around this area, so as Arnie would say, I’ll be back.

Aqualung . left this review about Dog & Partridge

This is currently the last remaining Robinson's pub in the Bollington area. It's a square stone building which inside has a central bar with four carpeted rooms off it. At the front one of the rooms is wholly devoted to a pool table and a second has a dart board but also some tables benches and stools. There were four Robinson's beers on offer, 1892, Unicorn, Dizzy Blond and Trooper.
The Unicorn bitter (£2.70) was in great nick and a bit cheaper than the two free houses in town. Overall this is a pleasant and well run Robinson's house that I quite liked.
