Fairly ghastly backstreet local that has been walloped through and refurbished at minimal expense via a gross of grey paint, cheap grey patterned fabric and a plethora of screens. Separate games room at the rear which was raucous. Three sticks at the jump with 2x Doom Bar and Timothy Taylor Landlord clipped though it transpired that only the latter was on, a half of which was a mite better than expected (NBSS 2.5). A dozen or so punters in on Saturday night though making the noise of twice that number. Get the feeling that it's probably on borrowed time in its current state.
