A long, thin place at the northern end of the town, basically one long L shaped room with a matching but shorter counter. This has four quad T-bars and a single unused beer engine, usual Craft Union fare and punters although it’s Chester le Street so friendlier than some places. The majority of the pub is on a single level but the right hand end is up a few steps and has mainly tall seating, as well as a dart board and a pool table plus a couple of screens. Low seating predominates in the lower level where there’s more screens, the music is everywhere at once and too loud. Decorated with old photos and ad’s.

One long room with the bar to the left. Two Hand Pumps - Doombore & Taylors - rest all keg. Pool table to rear.
