Quite an imposing old coaching inn in the centre of Chirk. The lounge bar is to the right as you enter. Meals are served in the restaurant to the left. Large free public car park behind the pub (just behind the Chirk Tavern). We ate here and the food was very good. I had a pint of Seren from the Big Hand brewery which was excellent. Well worth a visit.
