This pub is larger than it initially seems. Entering from the tight car park (which appears to have lost all but 3 of its spaces to some picnic tables to the front), the bar is on the right. It has a couple of TVs, a dartboard and 2 games machines. If this wasn't enough, there is a separate games room to the far right with another dartboard and a pool table.

Off to the left is a small dining room at the front and another smaller room behind kitted with a casino table, complete with chips. With no space in the bar, I sat in this room but was soon joined by a few locals who came to play cards at the table. From here, steps led down to a further large room in darkness.

Music was playing throughout and there were plenty of Halloween decorations. Children and dogs are welcome. There are 3 handpulls but just one was clipped with Hobgoblin Gold. Alpacalypse was the pick of the keg beers. Ciders were Magners & Magners Dark Fruit.

I'd imagine this pub can get quite busy in the peak tourist season with people spilling out of nearby Prestatyn. Those present for my visit seemed to be mainly locals. It had a lively atmosphere but I certainly wouldn't return for the drinks range.
