Blue Scrumpy left this review about Hand Hotel
There are a couple of pubs opposite each other in the village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, a sleepy place in the Ceiriog valley. The Hand at Llanarmon has a large wooden sculpture of a hand just in front of the pub and a car park to the left-hand side.
You enter into a reception area for the pub's accommodation. The bar is to the left. It has laminate flooring and a long grey bar. A real fire was lit and music was playing. Free wifi is available.
Beyond, there is a smaller room with a piano and a dining room at the very rear. The two cask ales are Stonehouse Station Bitter & Weetwood Cheshire Cat. Ciders were Hawkstone Cider & Thatcher's Apple & Blackcurrant, Cloudy Lemon & Blood Orange. The guy who served me was presumably the landlord. He was quite friendly and whilst there were a couple of other staff members, I was the only customer.
The location of this pub is idyllic but it certainly lacked any atmosphere.
