Quinno _ left this review about The Point
A Scouse-magnet campsite bar so I wasn't expecting much but as a much-needed stop on a hot and hefty day of Wales Coast Path trekking it had to be done. So I was pleasantly surprised to find a quirky bar decorated with bits of scraps and salvage including some old bar fixtures and fittings. Faintly amazed to see four pumps at the bar with Facer's Abbey Original and a handwritten clip saying 'North Star'. The Abbey, whilst hardly a taste sensation, was in surprisingly good shape (NBSS 3). Ordered chips and got some decent specimens for my trouble, whilst Mrs Quinno's gunned coke was also good. Probably horrific in the summer evenings but as a mid-afternoon stop-off I was very pleased. 6.5
