Sad little pub with nothing to offer the real ale drinker. All that was available amongst the lagers and ciders was John Smiths and McEwan's.

Inside what looks promising from the outside is a tired interior with lots of plywood panelled white painted walls and a pool table. No food was on offer the night I was there, despite the claims on the web site.

I dropped in whilst waiting for a lift out of town, to be told that they were shutting at 10pm due to lack of custom. the landlord assured me that the place was rammesd in the summer, although I don't know why when the Eagle is a much nicer place to be.
