This small corner bar has been refurbished since I was last in it about a year ago, with new purple coloured padded seating and matching window blinds. However, it retains something of its traditional character and clientele, with mostly middle-aged customers and appropriate 60s and 70s music on the juke box. A pint of Carlsberg lager cost me £3.10 and San Miguel, Belhaven Best, Tetley's Smoothflow, Guinness and Thatcher's cider were also on draught. The mirrored gantry behind the bar also contains a good range of whiskies and other spirits.

Traditional interior serving a standard draught selection (1 real ale tap not in use). Rugby memorabilia on the walls.
