David Ross left this review about Coach House Bar
Although it is part of the rather up-market Fisher's Hotel, the Coach House looks and feels like an entirely different establishment. Located in a separate building, it retains the name of its previous incarnation, the Kingfisher Bar, on the glass panels of the entrance doors. Inside is a commodious, rectangular bar/lounge which seems to be one of the principal haunts (together with the Old Mill Inn across the road) of the town's young people. As such, it was busy and noisy, with live bands and artists and loudish music. Unusually for normally sedate Pitlochry, there were even stewards on the door on the Friday night I visited, although they weren't really required as everyone was well behaved. There is a pool table in one corner. It was on the expensive side, with Guinness selling at £3.65 a pint. Tennent's, Carling, Heverlee and San Miguel lagers, Belhaven Best and Magner's and Olde English ciders were also on draught. There were two hand pumps, but neither was in use. If you're looking for the liveliest pub in town, this is probably it.
