A detached, double-gabled frontaged hotel that incorporates a restaurant and a bar room open to non-residents. It is in white with some coffee coloured paintwork. It has a patio area.
The bar room is to the left on entry. It is in the modern bistro style, with red and a coffee coloured walls, white ceiling and wood floor. There are sofas and comfy chairs, with mirrors and landscapy art on the walls, as well as a few bits of sculpture. There is a small fireplace too. The service was fine and there were just a couple of others in at my brief visit. The TV wasn't on and the music was general and at a decent level. They did pizza take-away, which i didn't try.
Beer; no real ale, all tap stuff including Peroni and a Tennants Ember 80/-, which was something i hadn't tried before.
Fine for those that like the modern and are not too bothered about real ale.
