Old Boots left this review about The Imperial
A long, thin, modernised place, fairly basic in spite of the name, laminate floors, dodgy reupholstered banquettes, a range of standard Scots/UK kegs and plenty of screens and machines. The punters seem to like it, swearing at each other and getting wound up by the Irish barman/landlord. Its a Greene King place but the best I could find was a slightly warm Staropremen.

Colin Walker left this review about Bar One
The Imperial Hotel changed its set up and name to the Moray Bar and finally from 2009 on it has been upgraded to the first real cocktail bar in Inverness, with its name being Bar One. The place runs training in making cocktails at £25.00 per person with 2 free cocktails on arrival. The bar has a menu with well over 50 cocktails. Although I am showing the place as just cocktails there are plenty of the standard fare of draught and bottled beers available. The place sits one street to the left across the road from the train station.
