A surprisingly-large old stone-built local at the top end of the village. The interior has a series of interconncted rooms arranged round the central bar area and you seem to find another one round every corner. The aged cob and stone walls give a nice feel, although the shade of sea blue is bold. Outside is a decked area, while across the car park entrance there is an astroturf part, for no obvious reason. Draught ales at time of visit were Tribute, Atlantic, Doom Bar and Abbot with Marstons 61 Deep as guest and condition of those sampled was good (Cask Marque). Food not sampled but was obviously popular. A worthy local and would be happy to return.

One of the best kept Skinners Betty Stogs I have had while in Cornwall, and a friendly pub with reasonable priced meals. There is a beer garden too.
