The separate bar and lounge of my last visit here, which must have been over ten years ago, have been replaced by a large one room bar/diner. The irregular shape of the building does at least lend it some distinctive features, but it is still a fairly standard and predictable modern pub. There is, however, an impressive array of UK and foreign beers on tap, including three real ales, and all at reasonable prices. There is a cash machine, games machines and a pool table, fair-trade coffee and cheap food (e.g. £4.99 for a Beer and Burger).
