The old name for this pub was The Quarter Gill now called Oswalds. This has been turned into a former traditional working class pub into a working class pub to with all colours attributed to Rangers football club. All things Rangers adorn the interior.
No real ale. Belhaven Best on tap being the next choice.

Paul McScotty left this review about The Quarter Gill

Traditional working class pub not too far from Glasgow central - The 1/4 Gill is really just a single narrow (ish) room , dark wood panelling and white walls with a few chairs and tables - at the back is more a seating area than nearer the bar- the bar area itself is a nice tidy dark wood area that serves standard beers and spirits (£2>90 for a nice pint of Bellhaven). I only popped in here as it wasn't too busy and I wanted to see the football - to be honest I have always avoided it as it looked like a dive but its actually a pretty ok bar. Bar staff are nice and the punters (generally an older crowd - 60 plus) are really friendly - toilets surprisingly clean as well - Saturday has a karaoke. I didn't stay too long but had a nice time chatting and watching the football with the locals -One thing to watch out its near the Arches and a few dodgy side streets to avoid if your not aware of this area later at night. On this visit a good "old mans" traditional bar
