Strongers . left this review about The Park Lane
The Park Lane is a small bar with an L-shaped bar counter that supports standard keg on the left hand wall and some table and chairs are found to the right. There was low background music playing to the handful of hardcore pissheads late doors on a recent midweek evening. The service was polite, but I’ll not be visiting again.

A nice tidy narrow pub with the usual selection of beers and spirits with prices mostly reasonable.N
Normally its quite Monday - Thursday but Friday and especially Saturday (after 7:30)it can get a bit busy and with it not being the biggest bar it can be a bit overpowering at times (Saturday has a popular karaoke). I'm not sure what happened here but around February last year(2012) the bar changed a bit (new folk found it , I'm not sure) but the regulars (a decent chatty bunch) seem to have left this place in droves at the weekend as like the previous poster stated it can get a bit too rowdy (not violent but party rowdy) - Pity it was a great fun bar - still worth a pint (has a great Juke Box) until the Karaoke starts -oh I have to add that the bar staff are fantastic very friendly and helpful.
