Strongers . left this review about Park Bar
Park bar has a large central rounded U-shaped serving counter that is faced by green banquettes that run along the front wall, up the right wall and across the rear past a small stage adjacent to an ornate fireplace with burner in the right rear corner. There was some country & Western music playing in the background, but the inclusion of fiddles and bagpipes on the stage’s back wall suggest that this is a traditional music pub. There are lots of flags stuck to the ceiling, but for some reason I couldn’t find the Union Jack. The service was polite from the landlady, but only standard keg was available. This is a comfortable enough place, but it’s a bit far from the city centre to warrant a revisit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Park Bar
One of several pubs in the Kelvingrove area popular with Gaelic speakers, a fact made apparent by some of the exterior and interior signage. Plenty of folk music events advertised around the 'U'-shaped bar (the back half of which is very dark). Fairly traditional furniture and decor. Several silent TVs showing sports. No real ale, so had a pint of keg Caledonia Best (£2.90). Still fairly busy at a usually quiet time of the afternoon, so I imagine it can get fairly lively at the weekend.
