David Ross left this review about The Butty
Consisting of a separate bar and lounge, this is now the only surviving pub in Drumchapel Shopping Centre, since the demise of the Girnin’ Gates and the Precinct. The bar is fairly basic and unexceptional, but not unpleasant. The three TV screens were all showing horse racing. My pint of Tartan Special cost me £2.70 and McEwan’s 70 Shilling, Guinness, Strongbow cider and Tennent’s, McEwan’s and Fosters lagers are also on draught. The adjacent lounge is slightly plusher, with meals being served and music playing. Very reasonably priced breakfasts on Saturday mornings are also advertised. Both lounge and bar are commodious, although neither was busy on the Friday afternoon I called in, which is surprising given the lack of other pubs nearby.
