There has been a pub here since at least 1847. Stopped by on the way home. Dying for a pint of heavy (Best). Barman said no heavy. There's no call for it (From the local customers). Only lager on tap. Plenty of bottled dark beers. Stuck with Jack Daniels. Still breaks the thurst. For further information see http://www.oldglasgowpubs.co.uk/anchor.html
