When i worked at the Wellesley pit from 1956 to 1968 this pub was called the GOTH and was managed bya J. STEWART. The walls were all tiled (looked like a public toilet) and there was a flow of water in a trough around the bar.

I've found memories of the excellent pint i enjoyed after a shift doon the pit.
