Early on a recent midweek evening I started off in the blue carpeted right-hand public bar of Weavers which felt busy with about 15 middle aged blokes who were either playing on the central pool table or were sat on the banquettes up the side walls awaiting their turn. There’s also a dartboard with its oche across the front windows and Sky Sports was muted on the two televisions while some background music played. A short serving counter with some stools is in the left rear corner where standard keg products are available. The serving counter continues into the larger left-hand lounge where it runs across the length of the rear wall. In here green banquettes run up the left and right walls and the bar is lined with matching stools. There’s also a raised central seating area across the front that breaks the room up a little. I thought the service was friendly and I’d probably pop in here every now and again if I lived locally.
