Will Larter left this review about Robertson's 37 Bar

Small corner bar on Rose Street with just one hand pump, a pretty decent but pricey Stewart Edinburgh Black, a 4.2% stout (NBSS 3.5, £3.10 for a half). No particular reason to come here when there are much better pubs for cask beer along Rose Street.

Colin Walker left this review about The Thirty Seven Bar

This bar sits at number 37 Rose Street hence its name and dates back to 1901. Many of the fittings date back to this time such as the gantry. The mirrored shelves are covered with plenty of malt whiskies of which there are over 100 types also including Irish and other whiskey. Considering where it sits in Edinburgh it still comes across as an old man’s pub. But should still be included in a pub crawl along Rose street.

Traditional pub with an L shaped interior. Standard draught selection. Rugby memorabilia on the walls.

E TA left this review about The Thirty Seven Bar

A single-bar pub on a corner, lively and friendly. TV screen and gaming machines provide the entertainment. The staff are young and inexperienced, but willing and helpful. Deuchres IPA was the only ale available; it wasn't particularly well kept and was, in adddition, served too cold. There was, however, a decent selection of whiskies. OK to drop in for a pint when passing, but it's not the best of Rose Street's pubs.
