This is a corner pub set in what looks like a house. Inside it's a small room with a few furnishings. It is a bit like a micropub but is definitely a small pub.
There are two hand pumps and one was being changed while the other had Harbour Tombstone (£3.80) which although not clear tasted fine. It also does a wide choice of rums.
I thought this was one of the better options in Penzance.

Clean tidy pub on a corner not far from the bus and railway stations. I was told it has recently reopened after about 5 years closure. Only one ale on but it was the best St Austell Tribute I have had for a while, and believe me, I have had some Tributes! Hand pulls were the modern chrome type. It was a small bar area, and music was playing.
Above visit was on 18 June, and at a follow up visit on 21 June, I found out they had only been open a week. The beer was now St Austell Dartmoor, and it was again a very well kept ale. He is testing things really and hopes it takes off so he can put more beers on.
