Will Larter left this review about Robbies
An irregularly shaped room, with the bar counter being against the wall on Iona Street, so that it's on the left if entering from Leith Walk. Four hand pumps, the one that stood out to me being Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted, which had been bottom-of-the-barrel when I tried it in Sandy Bell's about six pubs ago. This time it was fine, but the glass was a little warm (NBSS 3 after giving it a few minutes to recover). In their defence, the staff were in the process of closing the bar and I'd only just slipped in before last orders. This is a something-for-everyone type of place, with a long bar counter with foot rest and hooks, bench seating, a side room or snug, pictures of former Hibs footballers, screens showing this afternoon's horse racing and this evening's darts. And the beer wasn't at all bad. (The toilets were spotless and fragrant.)
