Taken over and totally transformed with the central horseshoe bar replaced with a bar on one side. Exposed brickwork and wooden floor. 2 real ales served.

A traditional pub with a central horseshoe wooden bar and gantry serving a standard draught selection. Pictures of old Portobello and Edinburgh on the walls.

A drinkers pub typical of the area. No cask but usual range of keg beers, I might have to challenge the Best in Bellhaven Best, it wasn't that good and I had better elsewhere. The entrance has doors left and right that both lead to the same room with a horseshoe shaped bar. TV's on and racing seemed to be popular. Bus stop outside.

What used to be an excellant has now deteriorate to loutish football hooligans which the staff and owners seem to encourage. This is no longer a class pub more a yob pub
